What precautions should be taken before using a granite testing platform?
1. Before measuring, confirm that the granite platform has returned to zero.
2. Inspect the granite platform's measuring surface for rust, wear, or scratches.
3. First, remove burrs, oil, or slag from the workpiece's measuring surface.
4. Wipe with a soft cloth or lint-free paper.
5. Regularly check the record book and make corrections as necessary.
6. The granite platform and instruments used should be properly positioned and free of any heavy objects.
7. For fragile granite platforms, use a soft velvet cloth or soft tissue paper placed on the workbench.

What precautions should be taken after using a granite testing platform?
Clean the granite platform's working surface after each use. Use a mild soap solution to clean the surface to ensure that no harmful particles remain. Also, wipe the surface with a sponge to minimize scratches. Do not drag heavy objects across the granite platform's working surface to avoid scratching or scraping it. Do not place very hot objects directly on the granite platform's work surface. Hot workpieces should only be placed on a mat. Workpieces or other items that could scratch the granite platform's work surface should be placed on a tripod frame or mat.

After using the granite platform, clean the work surface with rubbing alcohol and then wipe it with absorbent cotton. Workpieces should also be cleaned. Operators should place them gently on the platform, avoiding bumps. It is recommended that operators clean the platform immediately after use. To prevent platform deformation, heavy workpieces should be removed after inspection and should not be stored on the granite platform for extended periods. Do not place other objects on the granite platform; re-leveling is necessary when the granite platform is moved.

When not in use for extended periods, granite inspection platforms should be stored as follows: A wooden cover is used to prevent water from dripping onto the granite platform's work surface. If not in use for an extended period, apply butter and place paper on the back cover to ensure the platform's accuracy.
