A: Every UNPARALLELED® granite machine base ships with calibration inspection documentation that includes the raw measurement data - not just a pass/fail statement. We provide autocollimator readings, electronic level measurement logs, instrument calibration certificate numbers, and temperature records from the measurement session. Our instruments are calibrated at the Shandong Metrology Institute and Jinan Metrology Institute, traceable to China's National Metrology Institute. You can independently verify our credentials by contacting the issuing institutions. We welcome - and have accommodated - buyer witness inspection during production for critical applications.

Q: Our equipment requires a granite base larger than 5 meters. Can UNPARALLELED® manufacture and verify flatness on pieces that large?

A: Yes. UNPARALLELED® manufactures granite machine bases up to 20,000mm in length. Our 10,000m² temperature-controlled workshop with vibration-dampening trench design and silent overhead cranes enables us to grind and measure large-format pieces in controlled environmental conditions. We operate four Natma precision grinding centers capable of profile grinding up to 6,000mm pieces, and we have produced granite bases exceeding 10 meters for semiconductor and precision CNC equipment manufacturers. Flatness verification on large pieces follows the same standards as small pieces - autocollimator grid measurement with temperature control.

Q: We need granite machine bases that meet CE requirements for the European market. Does UNPARALLELED® hold CE certification?

A: Yes. UNPARALLELED® holds CE certification for its precision granite product lines, in addition to ISO9001:2015, ISO45001, and ISO14001. CE certification is included with export shipments to European buyers. Our quality management system is certified by an accredited registrar, and our calibration instruments carry traceable certificates from recognized metrology institutes.

Q: Is UNPARALLELED® black granite actually granite, or is it marble or another stone?

A: UNPARALLELED® precision granite products are manufactured from genuine natural black granite - specifically UNPARALLELED® black granite with a verified density of approximately 3,100kg/m³. We do not use marble as a substitute material. Marble has a density of approximately 2,500–2,700kg/m³ and significantly inferior mechanical properties for precision applications - higher thermal expansion, lower hardness, and susceptibility to scratching. Some lower-cost suppliers substitute marble to reduce material cost. UNPARALLELED® refuses this practice. Our incoming material inspection verifies stone type and density for every raw material batch before it enters production.

Q: We need a flatness Grade 00 surface plate but are concerned about damage during shipping. How does UNPARALLELED® protect precision surfaces during transport?

A: UNPARALLELED® uses purpose-designed export packing for all precision granite products: foam cushioning between the granite surface and wooden crate, shock-absorbing corner blocks, desiccant packs to control moisture during sea freight, and clear labeling indicating fragile precision components. We work with freight forwarders experienced in heavy oversized precision cargo. Upon delivery, we provide thermal equilibration instructions - a Grade 00 plate that arrives cold must equilibrate to room temperature for a minimum of 4 hours (24 hours preferred) before measurement or use. We include these instructions with every shipment. If damage occurs during transport despite our packing protocols, we have a standard non-conformance response process that results in replacement or repair at our cost.

Q: We require technical support during installation. Does UNPARALLELED® provide installation guidance or on-site service?

A: UNPARALLELED® provides detailed installation guidance documentation with every machine base, including support point positioning recommendations, leveling procedures, torque specifications for anchor bolts, and thermal equilibration guidance. For OEM buyers with critical applications, our engineering team is available for technical consultation via email and video conference. On-site service is available on request and can be quoted as part of a comprehensive service package.
