UNPARALLELED® Metrology Equipment Bases require minimal maintenance, but adherence to simple guidelines ensures decades of reliable performance:

1. Cleaning: Use a mild, non-abrasive granite cleaner or denatured alcohol. Never use harsh acids or detergents. Wipe the surface gently with a lint-free cloth.
2. Environment: While the granite is thermally stable, always operate the component within its designed temperature range, ideally within a controlled environment (20℃±1℃).
3. Handling: Always lift heavy components using proper lifting equipment at designated points to prevent chipping or internal stress.
4. Recalibration: Although granite is highly stable, if the component is moved or is the primary reference base (e.g., a surface plate), an annual calibration check by a certified metrology professional using a laser interferometer is recommended to certify flatness deviation.
