Product Overview

The granite T‑slot plate adopts UNPARALLELED® high‑density black granite as raw material. It undergoes strict natural stress‑relief aging, precision lapping and T‑slot machining in constant‑temperature workshop. It is an ultra‑precision tooling plate integrating reference measurement and workpiece clamping.

Multiple customized T‑slots on the top surface allow fast fixing of workpieces, fixtures and gauges with T‑bolts. The large lapped datum surface supports dimension inspection and dial‑gauge verification for assembly and commissioning. It solves the clamping limitation of ordinary granite surface plates.

Maintenance & Protection

Storage Environment: Store in dry, dust‑free indoor space with stable temperature. Avoid outdoor exposure and keep away from moisture, acid and alkali corrosive substances.

Handling Protection: Use lifting holes for transportation. Never drag the plate surface. Avoid impact or knocking, as granite is brittle and easy to chip.

Cleaning Method: Wipe datum surface with lint‑free cloth dipped in anhydrous ethanol or special stone cleaner. Do not use sandpaper or steel wool. Strong acid and alkali cleaners are forbidden. Remove metal chips timely to prevent scratches on datum face and T‑slot inner walls.

Operation Requirements: Place workpieces and fixtures gently, do not drop onto the plate. T‑bolts shall be tightened with moderate torque; over‑tightening will damage T‑slots. Adopt 3‑point adjustable support stands to ensure uniform stress and prevent distortion.

Accuracy Maintenance: Re‑check flatness periodically. Do not repair scratches by yourself. Return to factory for professional re‑lapping if surface is damaged.

Forbidden Operations: No cutting, welding or knocking on the plate surface. Keep high‑temperature operation away to prevent surface thermal damage.

Common Notes

 

Granite is brittle, avoid impact and drop.

T‑slots are only for T‑bolt clamping, no heavy knocking allowed.

Must use 3‑point supports on uneven floor; do not lay flat directly on ground.

Sharp temperature fluctuation will cause temporary accuracy change. Constant‑temperature environment is recommended.
