Product Overview
Granite columns are vertical load‑bearing reference components for gantry motion systems. Manufactured from high‑density black precision granite blanks, they are assembled with XY granite bases and granite beams to form complete granite gantry frames, widely applied in semiconductor equipment, precision laser machinery and high‑precision inspection platforms.
Raw blanks undergo sufficient stress‑relief aging. Featuring high rigidity, superior vibration‑damping performance and low thermal expansion coefficient, the columns absorb vibration generated during high‑speed motion acceleration and deceleration and minimize deformation caused by temperature change, ensuring overall geometric stability of gantry frames.
Working surfaces are ultra‑precision lapped within constant‑temperature vibration‑isolated workshops. Strict tolerances are maintained for flatness, perpendicularity and positional accuracy of mounting surfaces. Custom features such as counter‑bores, cut‑outs and cable grooves are available. Pre‑embedded metal inserts enable firm fastening for beams, encoders and limit switches and prevent thread stripping of stone. Non‑magnetic grade is optional for weak‑magnetic applications.
Manufactured under ISO triple‑system and CE quality control and verified by CNAS metrology inspection. Custom heights and cross‑section sizes are supported. Columns can be used in pairs for gantry construction or as standalone supports. High‑density black granite blanks are carefully selected. Sufficient natural stress‑relief aging is performed to eliminate internal residual stress and avoid potential deformation in service. All machining processes including ultra‑precision lapping, cut‑outs and insert embedding are completed in constant‑temperature vibration‑isolated workshops to prevent process‑induced stress.
Comprehensive finished‑product inspection covers flatness, perpendicularity, dimensional tolerance and insert fitting condition. Full‑area magnetic scanning is added for non‑magnetic versions. Inspections are supported by CNAS‑calibrated measuring instruments under ISO triple‑system and CE standards, with complete test records kept for each unit.
Visual inspection is carried out before delivery to check chipping and cracks. Custom dimensions and special features are verified against customer drawings to prevent defective products from shipment.
Technical guidance on handling, installation and maintenance is provided after delivery. Re‑grinding and insert replacement shall be completed in manufacturer's constant‑temperature workshop. On‑site unauthorized modification is prohibited to sustain long‑term geometric accuracy.
