2. Cleanliness: Before and after use, clean the surface with a dedicated granite cleaner or 99% isopropyl alcohol. Avoid abrasive chemicals.
3. Load Distribution: Ensure the load is distributed evenly across the surface. Do not exceed the rated point-load capacity.
4. Periodic Recalibration: Depending on usage, have the surface professionally inspected and re-lapped every 12-24 months to account for natural wear in high-contact areas.
