UNPARALLELED® Granite Sliding Block is integrally machined from self-developed high-density black granite with a density of approximately 3100kg/m³. It features outstanding thermal stability, non-magnetic property and minimal deformation. The reference surfaces of the slider are precision ground to micron-level accuracy. It is available in two types: mechanical granite sliding block and granite air bearing slider. The mechanical slider works with granite guideways for precise linear motion. The air bearing slider is embedded with internal air channels and micro-orifices. Compressed air forms an air film to achieve frictionless floating travel.

Matched with granite guideways to form precision linear motion modules, UNPARALLELED® granite sliding blocks feature low thermal deformation and excellent motion stability. They are widely used in high-end industries including semiconductor equipment, linear motor XY stages, femtosecond & picosecond laser equipment, optical testing instruments, industrial CT, X-Ray equipment and ultra-precision metrology devices. Custom development for non-standard equipment is available.     

   The working surfaces of UNPARALLELED® granite sliding block are precision ground and relatively brittle, requiring proper protection. Avoid impact and dropping during transportation and installation to prevent edge chipping. Store in a dry and clean environment, away from dust and corrosive liquids. Clear debris on contact surfaces of slider and guideway before operation. For granite air bearing sliders, ensure dry and clean compressed air to prevent blockage of micro-orifices.                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Do not scratch the precision reference surfaces with hard objects. Use dust-free soft cloth, optionally with anhydrous alcohol for gentle cleaning. Dust protection is recommended during long-term shutdown. Avoid concentrated stress when moving the slider to prevent stone damage.

   UNPARALLELED® Granite Sliding Block is produced under strict quality control standards and manufactured in compliance with GB, DIN, ASME and JIS international standards. All reference surfaces are precision ground, and all geometric tolerances are inspected by high-precision testing equipment.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             We adopt self-developed high-density black granite as raw material, and substitution of inferior stone is strictly forbidden. Full inspections including appearance, dimensional accuracy, flatness, parallelism and perpendicularity are carried out before delivery. For granite air bearing sliders, additional tests for air channel tightness and air supply performance are conducted.                                                                                                                                               Complete inspection reports can be provided. Third-party re-inspection by customers is acceptable. We strictly control finished product quality and steadily supply customized non-standard granite sliding blocks.
